Dad and Mom

Well just thought I would keep you up on a few things about Mom and Dad. We have taken Dad off from his vancomycin because of the side effects. It makes his stomach hurt,adds to his dizziness and vertigo, and also makes loss of hearing, which is why I called the doctor, for he has a very hard time of hearing, and he gets confused more about what he hears, it is not clear to him. The doctor wants him to make sure he eats a yogurt daily.
Also we both went to the cardiologist yesterday for our 6 month checkup.
We are fine, except I have to go for another stress test because last year when he did the angiogram the main artery had some blockage and he wants to see if it is any worse or the same. I'm sure it is no worse.
The doctor finally called me today about my blood work. my cholesteral is fine, my triglicerides is a little high.my potassium is a little high. my blood is a little enimac, my vitamin d is low and she said my kidney is sorta dry that I need to drink more water and take vitamins with iron. Otherwise I am fine. Nothing else going on, except the car almost died when we stopped at the red light, so dad is worrying about the alternater going bad.

Well Ron got our car started, he had to jump start it. He also suggested that I keep the car doors locked, even in the garage. So that is what I will do, plus I will keep th alarm turned on the front door and laundry room door. Dad slept good last night, still sleepy today, can't keep him out of the bed.

I guess I goofed last night and didn't hear dad get out of bed. This morning when I got up, the light was on in the laundry room and that door was open. I think dad went into the car, for today when I tried starting the car it wouldn't even click. He doesn't remember any of it, so that scares me somewhat. He did mention first thing this morning that we have to have the transmission looked at and asked me if I shut the glove box. So I think he turned the dome light on and was looking at the car book. Sheryl came out to be with him so I could get out of the house for awhile, but guess what I didn't get to go. Love dad and mom
